I am writing on behalf of Dale Nowlin, who is running for state representative. Dale has been an active member of our community and a stalwart teacher and advocate for 40 years. He understands the importance of putting our district and our kids’ education first, but also has great concern for improvement statewide.
In contrast, his opponent, Ryan Lauer, helped budget increases of 12% to voucher schools, 10% to charter schools and only 2% to public schools — not even covering the effect of inflation. This decision adversely affected 13,000 public school students in Bartholomew County with no ill effects to the charter school students. Also, while Ryan has accepted donations from the voucher school lobby, Dale is accepting donations from no lobbies.
Please vote for Dale Nowlin for state representative. He is a longtime teacher who understands the public educational system in Indiana and has a great passion for positive change.
