INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 2,062 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. To date, a total of 166,564 Indiana residents are known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
A total of 3,958 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 51 from the previous day. Another 236 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 1,646,542 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,638,232 on Monday. A total of 2,754,311 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
Bartholomew County reported 1,490 positive tests (up 10) with 58 deaths (no change) on Tuesday.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 1,225 positive cases (up 15) with 19 deaths (up one).
Jennings County: 388 positive cases (up 12) with 13 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 533 positive cases (up five) with 39 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 918 positive cases (up six) with 35 deaths (up three).
Johnson County: 3,307 positive cases (up 28) with 131 deaths (up one).
Brown County: 150 positive cases (up three) with three deaths (no change).

The testing site in Columbus is located in FairOaks Mall at the former JC Penney location.
The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.
Dates and times may vary, with evening and Saturday appointments available. The phone number is 812-379-1555, Option 1.
Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
Windrose Health Network is located at 911 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Windrose will also be utilizing a mobile unit at its Hope location. Windrose may be contacted at 317-680-9901.
