HOUSTON — Tyler Duncan carded an opening-round 7-over-par 77 Thursday and is tied for 118th place in the Houston Open.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, started with a birdie on No. 10, but triple-bogeyed No. 18 and shot 39 on his first nine. He finished with a 38 on the front nine.
Brandt Snedeker leads the tournament at 5-under 65. Six others are at 3-under 67.
