• Grant at Voelz for taking care of my CRV’s body repair and doing an exceptional job, from Paula Boes.

• Chemdry George for cleaning my carpets at the time of my husband’s passing and doing an exceptional job.

• John Boldt for finding my billfold and Columbus Police Officer Ryan Wilder, who saw that it was returned to me.

• Lindsey Seel at CVS Pharmacy on National Road for the awesome kindness and customer service, from Phyllis Paradise.

• Flat Rock-Hawcreek Superintendent Shawn Price and BCSC Superintendent Jim Roberts for guidance during these trying times in public education.

• Drs. Barrett and McMullen as well as Ashley, Joanie, Kim, Kelly and Terry of the the CRH Endoscopy Department for being highly professional, pleasant and caring during my procedures Thursday.

• everyone whose vote added to the 4 million more of us who saw the need for change.

• those who know that success of a country is really dependent on the ability and willingness of its leaders to take in reality, data, observable truth, and interpret and then make policies based on that.

• Nancy and Harry for putting their employees and customers first by temporarily closing Papa’s Deli due to the pandemic.

• Dr. Witt and Dr. Bear, Hope Veterinary staff, for caring for Darcy for nine years.

• Matt and Kelley at Kelley’s Auto Interiors for excellent customer service in my recent Penske Truck rentals.

• those who organized and worked the early vote voting center, it was the best experience in voting we’ve had.

• the Republic for the lovely article about North championship in cross country.

• Judaeo-Christian values on which our country was founded.

• the federal elected official for trying to pull off “The Art Of The Steal” in the 2020 Presidential Election.

• the federal elected official, the law and order candidate, for his calls on vote handling that are neither lawful nor orderly.

• being inclusive and accepting of fireworks for some is being uncaring and thoughtless about people with dementia, PTSD, veterans, autism, pets, etc.

• catering to one group’s holiday when all the other holidays and celebrations are canceled because of the virus.

• the federal elected official who thinks stopping vote counts makes him look good.

• the drivers who think that the new overpass is their personal race track.

• people who need to heed some simple advice, lock your cars.

• the federal leader who told his supporters not to vote by mail, but is now whining because they did what he told them.

• city for allowing an exception to the fireworks law for one small group.

• the federal elected official who doesn’t know what to do about the pandemic and now claims it will disappear without a vaccine.

• the federal elected official who has shown no ability to listen to citizens’ concerns, or recognize and identify with their suffering because they lost a loved one and they themselves got sick or lost a job.

• the federal elected official who has such a fundamental misunderstanding of why people go into military service — patriotism, not money.

• the federal elected official who has shown Russia, China, and North Korea exactly how to take down our country, and that is to divide us from each other and from our allies.

• the leader who is tragically cut off from reality.

• the candidate trying to steal the election by preventing votes from being counted.

• the columnists assuming that athletes who kneel during the national anthem don’t make significant donations or other tangible differences to the lives of the less fortunate.

• the state for inflicting your poor choice on the whole country.

• the doctors’ offices and staff who refuse to wear masks.

• the school system for sending special needs students to school.
