INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 4,213 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 214,509 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
A total of 4,418 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 34 from the previous day. Another 246 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 1,823,029 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,809,940 on Sunday. A total of 3,239,034 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
Bartholomew County reported 1,898 positive tests (up 40) with 60 deaths (no change) on Monday.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 1,481 positive cases (up 20) with 25 deaths (up one).
Jennings County: 547 positive cases (up nine) with 13 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 815 positive cases (up 16) with 39 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 1,262 positive cases (up 39) with 47 deaths (no change).
Johnson County: 4,216 positive cases (up 87) with 156 deaths (up two).
Brown County: 199 positive cases (up 13) with three deaths (no change).

Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
Windrose Health Network is located at 911 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Windrose will also be utilizing a mobile unit at its Hope location. Windrose may be contacted at 317-680-9901.
