BCSC reports latest COVID-19 numbers

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. officials reported Friday afternoon that since Aug. 10, the school corporation has had 159 positive cases of COVID-19, up 53 from last Friday’s count of 106.

Out of this number, 97 have been students, 44 have been staff and 18 have been teachers. These totals include those working or learning remotely.

The cases are as follows, by building:

  • Administration: Three staff members (3 total)
  • Busy Bees: Two staff, three teachers (5 total)
  • Central: Five students, one staff (6 total)
  • Clifty Creek: Three students, four staff, three teachers (10 total)
  • CSA Fodrea: One student, two staff, one teacher (4 total)
  • CSA Lincoln: Three students, one teacher (4 total)
  • CSA New Tech: Four students, one staff (5 total)
  • Columbus East: 26 students, six staff, three teachers (35 total)
  • McDowell/Bright Beginnings: Three students (3 total)
  • Mt. Healthy: Three students, one teacher (4 total)
  • Columbus North: 24 students, three staff, three teachers (30 total)
  • Northside: Seven students, one staff (8 total)
  • Parkside: Three students, two staff (5 total)
  • Richards: Six students, one staff, one teacher (8 total)
  • Rockcreek: Two staff, one teacher (3 total)
  • Schmitt: One student, two staff (3 total)
  • Smith: Four students, one staff, one teacher (6 total)
  • Southside: One student, three staff (4 total)
  • Transportation and maintenance: Nine staff (9 total)
  • Taylorsville: Three students and one staff (4 total)
