COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus East Food Pantry’s next community distribution is from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday and will include items that can be incorporated into a Thanksgiving dinner.
The distribution is at door 31 in the west parking lot behind the school near the tennis courts. The distribution is drive-up and “no contact.” Community members should not enter the west parking lot until 3:30 p.m.
The Nov. 20 pre-bagged food collections include honey ham, turkey stuffing, turkey gravy, pumpkin pie, egg noodles, green beans, corn, cream of chicken soup and margarine. Each pre-bagged food collection also includes other food items that are not specific to the holiday.
Food pantry coordinator Greg Lewis said the food was bagged by Future Farmers of America students from East, North and Columbus Signature Academy New Tech.
