• Crista Eicher for highlighting how nurses and doctors need our support more than ever during the pandemic and how grateful we should be for their hard, tireless work.

• creating a three-way stop at Rocky Ford and River Road, making it safer to pull on to Rocky Ford especially during high traffic times and slowing down speeders.

• McAlister’s for correcting my pickup order, going above and beyond with extraordinary customer service.

• everyone voicing concerns about the current administration mismanaging their term in office, the virus, the presidential election and transition.

• the amazing employees of Edinburgh Snappy Tomato for going above and beyond by stopping at a gas station to bring me a Cherry Coke with my pizza during quarantine.

• the nearly 80 million voters who showed intelligence and the ability to discern right from wrong when responding to the past four years.

• Mitt Romney for being the conscious of the Republican Senate.

• Rob Langley, with much appreciation and gratitude, for paying for Isaac’s guitar lessons at Pickett’s Music Store.

• First United Methodist Church for having a variation to the cookie walk.

• the gentleman who found my hearing aid at MyCare and turned it in.

• the president’s legal team for blowing the lid off the corruption in our government and bringing it to light.

• Dr. Beth Carter and staff at Stanley Dental Care for addressing my husband’s needs during these difficult times.

• the federal elected official for failing to see the need for a COVID-19 plan and being uncooperative with the incoming president because he is angry over losing the election.

• those who believe the candidate received more votes than ever recorded, and nothing’s fishy.

• criticism of those expressing sadness, compassion, and respect for the loss of a K9 killed in the line of duty.

• rampant illogical mandates that are the problem, not the virus.

• teachers unions.

• the person who needed our trail camera more than we did, we’d gladly give you one if you’d asked.

• the federal task force leaving without taking questions, perhaps they don’t know any answers.

• the political party for letting the federal elected official in and letting him have his way with the U.S. and the election.

• calling long term planning and budgeting an innovation which only proves the reckless wasteful spending that has been going on.

• the AWOL federal elected official who shows he cares nothing about this country or its citizens and only about saving his own skin.

• government officials for not seeking another hospital to move here to increase bed space, patient care options and competitive health care employment.

• the federal elected official for refusing to answer the question and mocking a reporter.

• the federal elected official telling Americans to ignore the pandemic when it has so far killed four times more than our American troops who died in Vietnam.

• the federal elected official who isn’t even trying to slow the virus’ spread.

• those who use Medicare and Social Security to prove socialism, we have paid for years in the workforce so they would be available to us in retirement — we earned it, it is not a gift.

• making marijuana criminal but lacking protocol for removing a federal elected official who has cost millions of lives.

• the coach demanding players pass to one specific player, then when they lose, tells the team that they didn’t play as a team.

• people who support a socialist or communist country.
