Fairbanks earns CPTD credential
Melissa Fairbanks, director of the Center for Business and Economic Development at IUPUC, has earned the Certified Professional in Talent Development credential from the Association for Talent Development Certification Institute.
Those who earn the credential are recognized for having an overall understanding of the 23 capabilities necessary for success in talent development and the ability to apply this knowledge in the workplace.
The Center for Business and Economic Development builds relationships with corporations and organizations in Columbus and throughout southeastern Indiana by providing a portfolio of business services and leveraging university faculty, staff and regional subject matter experts. Business services include executive education and management development seminars and certification programs, management consulting and coaching, supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, business start-ups and professional networking events.
