Coroner identifies Brown County homicide victim

BROWN COUNTY — The Brown County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in a Nov. 21 homicide in which a body was located at Bean Blossom Road and Bell Road.

The victim was identified as Angela Weisheit, 38, Indianapolis, the coroner’s office said.

Indiana State Police and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office strongly believe someone has information regarding this case and urge anyone with that information to come forward. Law enforcement has the means to mitigate any concerns of those who wish to report information anonymously.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Indiana State Police Bloomington Post, Master Trooper Detective Tim Cummins or First Sgt. Paul Suding at (812) 332-4411. This is an active investigation and all tips will be investigated and can remain anonymous.

An investigation began at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21 when a 911 call was received about a dead body at Bean Blossom Road and Bell Road through 911.
