Rachel Sabotin finished second in three individual events and set three personal records in her first collegiate home swim meet for 24th-ranked Akron.
Sabotin, a Columbus resident and 2020 Trinity Lutheran graduate, took second in the 200-yard individual medley in a personal-best 2 minutes, 1.77 seconds; placed second in the 100 butterfly in 54.72 and was second in the 200 butterfly in a personal-best 2:00.22 in a 1,953-1,570 victory against Buffalo.
Sabotin also led off the 200 freestyle relay team with a 50 freestyle personal-best 23.93 and anchored the winning 800 freestyle relay team.
