INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 7,542 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 419,536 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
A total of 6,458 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 85 from the previous day. Another 300 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 2,406,388 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,387,500 on Friday. A total of 4,879,677 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
Bartholomew County reported 4,496 positive tests (up 84) with 70 deaths (no change) on Saturday.

Jackson County: 3,154 positive cases (up 69) with 41 deaths (no change).
Jennings County: 1,373 positive cases (up 37) with 23 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 1,750 positive cases (up 49) with 49 deaths (up one).
Shelby County: 2,709 positive cases (up 55) with 67 deaths (up one).
Johnson County: 9,346 positive cases (up 198) with 195 deaths (up three).
Brown County: 528 positive cases (up 16) with eight deaths (no change).

The testing site in Columbus is located in FairOaks Mall at the former JC Penney location.
The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.

Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
