BARGERSVILLE, INDIANA
Dustin Cody Mettura, 33, of Bargersville, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana after a long battle with CHD.
Dustin was born on January 4th, 1987 in Franklin, Indiana to David Carr and Tillye Stainbrook.
Dustin was a wonderful husband and a loving father. He was always excited to spend quality time with his children. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed a number of activities like fishing and hunting. Dustin had a strong, personal relationship with Christ and was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church. He loved to listen to “Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson”, a podcast about faith, family, and sharing God’s Word.
Dustin is survived by his beloved wife, Kayla Mettura, of Bargersville, Indiana; his four sons, Liam, Luka, Gauge, Dustin II, and his daughter, Paxton, all of Bargersville, Indiana; his step-daughter, Liberty Bell, of Franklin, Indiana; his father, David, of Indianapolis, Indiana; his mother, Tillye, of Bargersville, Indiana; his brother, Joshua (Sydney) Carr, of Columbus, Indiana; his half-brother, David Zufal, of Indianapolis, Indiana; his step-mother, Nancy Carr, of Indianapolis, Indiana; his step-father, Ken Stainbrook, of Bargersville, Indiana; his two step-sisters, Brittany Davis, Courtney Davis, both of Indianapolis, Indiana.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 21st, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Bluff Creek Christian Church in Greenwood, Indiana with visitation from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour. The funeral will be available to watch at a later time for those unavailable to attend. Burial to follow the funeral at Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
