The annual “Shop With a Cop” program paired 133 children with Columbus Police officers to shop for clothes, toiletries and toys for Christmas.

Columbus Board of Works approved changing the name of Columbus’ ice rink from Lincoln Center to Hamilton Center in honor of the family whose donation of $650,000 in 1957 made the facility possible.

The congregation of Berean Bible Church at 51 N. Brooks St., dedicated a new sanctuary and Sunday school facilities.
