COLUMBUS
Elaine R. Kelley, 74, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:16 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Kelley was born July 21, 1946 in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Edward H.G. and Jessie Lois May Lacey.
She married Robert L. Kelley Jr. May 4, 1968.
Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and a caregiver to all in her family.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 53 years; children, Angela (Cindy) Ross of Greenwood, Chris (Regina) Ross of Elizabethtown and Cindy (Brad) Hawkins of Columbus; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and a sister, Rose (John) Dunlap of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kim Ross and a nephew, Jason Day.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Nick Hill officiating.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people in our funeral home.
We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
