Lancers top Eagles
EDINBURGH — Class A No. 7 Edinburgh jumped out to an 18-7 lead after one quarter Thursday and went on to close the regular season with a 74-41 win against Brown County.
Isaac Roberts led the Lancers (18-5) with 16 points. Riley Palmeter scored 14, while Caleb Dewey added 12, Travis Jones had 11 and Noah Detling chipped in nine.
Travis Ely and Ricky Stanley each scored 12 points to lead the Eagles (1-13). Carter Kelly added eight.
Cougars down Spartans
SHELBYVILLE — Trinity Lutheran led only 24-18 at halftime before pulling away for a 55-37 win at Southwestern (Shelby).
Hudson Norton led the Cougars (9-13) with 19 points. Jack Marksberry scored 13, and Mitchell Hackman added 12.
