The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department said Sunday that former sheriff Rick L. Hill has died.
Hill, 74, served as sheriff from 1987 to 1990. Arrangements are pending at Jewell Rittman Funeral Home in Columbus, the department said.
“Our most sincere condolences go to Rick’s wife, Lisa Hill, and all of the Hill family," said Sheriff Matt Myers.
