Conrad went over the 1,000-point mark in last week’s NACA Tournament, leading the Crusaders with 24 points in a 67-64 loss to Clarksville (Tennessee) and 20 points in a 58-55 win over Tenessee Christian Prep. He added nine points in Friday’s 47-41 loss to Mt. View Christian (Alabama).

His performance last week: “We had a lot of injuries, so I had to step it up a little bit. It didn’t quite go as we wanted, but I feel pretty good about the way I played.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “Listen to music and don’t eat junk food.”

Favorite drink: “Water”

Favorite food: “Fried chicken”

Favorite class: “Physics”

Favorite sports team: “Gonzaga basketball”

Favorite athlete: “Ja Morant”

Role model: “My dad (Michael Conrad)”

Best advice: “Hard work pays off, so if you want something, you can work and go get it.”

Athletics goal: “Next year, I want to win our (ICSAA) state for basketball and get a ring.”

If you could travel anywhere: “Israel. It’s a pretty cool place with a lot of biblical history.”

Lorimor had eight points and eight rebounds in a 42-39 loss to Bradley Christian, led the Crusaders with 16 points and 14 rebounds in a 38-33 win over Jordan (Florida) and had 14 points, eight rebounds and six steals in Friday’s 47-34 win over New Life Christian Academy in the NACA Tournament.

Her performance last week: “As a team, we played really well.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “Just listen to music.”

Favorite food: “French Toast”

Favorite sports team: “USC volleyball”

Favorite athlete: “(Former USC volleyball player and current motivational speaker) Victoria Garrick”

Role model: “All the coaches that have helped me get to where I am.”

Best advice: “Always work your hardest, even if it’s just a random practice or game.”

Athletics goal: “Win a championship at NACA.”

If you could travel anywhere: “Rome, because it’s pretty, and I love history and there’s just a lot of history there.”
