A Bartholomew County Sheriff K9 deputy arrested a local man after a traffic stop at 11:33 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of State Street.
Deputy Brandon Sellers made the traffic stop, arresting Donald Kapetanios, 26, of 5259 N. Lincoln Village Drive, who Sellers learned did not have a driver’s license, deputies said.
BCSO K9 Jari alerted to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle where suspected methamphetamine, a syringe, partially burnt marijuana cigarettes and other drug-related paraphernalia were located, deputies said.
Kapetanios was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of paraphernalia
- Possession of a syringe
- Operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license
He was being held in jail in lieu of $123,500 bond, jail officials said.
