• Dr. Thompson, Dr. Powell, Brittany, Catherine, Danielle, Ashley and Nick for taking excellent care of my dad in surgery, from Ashley Kiilu.

• the university hiring a new basketball coach and his future replacement at the same time.

• Georgia for passing laws to keep the integrity of voting intact and prevent fraud.

• stopping the moments of silence and doing something about the carnage that create the moments of silence.

• President Joe Biden’s express vaccine success story in only two months.

• the black van at Tropical Smoothies for buying my lunch and smoothies on Monday, it made my day and it will be paid forward.

• my son, John Crouch, for doing a good job and keeping his mind focused, from Mom.

• each and every one who attended to me while I was at Silver Oaks, couldn’t have asked for better care or more delicious food, thank you so much, from Hedda Jordan.

• Athens Church for the wonderful bagels, from Clifty Creek Elementary School.

• Betty Lou for spending the night and taking good care of me, love Tommy.

• Jim Reifenberg and Jerry Smith for helping with our yard work, we are very grateful, from the Perrys.

• fifth and sixth grade boys basketball at CCS and parents for being thoughtful.

• Bartholomew County Commissioners Larry Kleinhenz, Carl Lienhoop, and Tony London for their letter opposing the wind and solar bill.

Onions to …

• the big local company for again raising my retirement health premiums, I am on fixed income.

• those who consider a 75% increase reasonable.

• the astronomical, nearly 75% hike in our water rate, always making the people tighten their belts because they can’t do the same with our tax dollars.

• allowing non-citizens infected with COVID-19 into the country.

• people relying on a minimum wage job for a living; it is only entry level job, try to excel and move up, not just accept.

• unkind people.

• people that need to understand a per mile tax isn’t about money, it’s about control.

• people who can’t see all these lockdowns and per mile taxes is designed to keep you isolated and in constant fear and under surveillance.

• those that aren’t aware synchronized traffic lights only work on one-way streets but only if no one speeds.

• those complaining about the border now when they never said a word while the previous administration separated babies from their parents.

• HR1, the For the People Act, removing all of the states’ rights to regulate voting along with showing your ID to keep it safer.

• the political party that feels they have a right to engage in outright sedition in order to have their way and their rule of this country.

• the former leader who holds the record of the decade for the most migrants crossing the border in a single year.

• the businesses that call you but do not leave a message for the reason for their call.

• the press briefing that embarrassed my country.

• the incompetent doctor and staff taking care of my elderly parent.

• the doctor who has never seen his patient at the hospital in the last four years.

• the federal elected official who is not stepping up and being a leader of our country.

• those who think our last election was legal.

• those who don’t believe that non-citizens will be allowed to vote and that our guns will be taken away from us.
