INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 1,240 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 687,713 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
To date, 12,642 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of nine from the previous day. Another 406 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.
A total of 3,262,518 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,257,245 on Wednesday. A total of 8,938,557 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
Bartholomew County reported 7,718 positive tests (up 14) with 151 deaths (no change) as of Thursday.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 4,825 positive cases (up 24) with 67 deaths (no change).
Jennings County: 2,228 positive cases (up three) with 46 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 2,763 positive cases (up five) with 92 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 4,707 positive cases (up two) with 95 deaths (no change).
Johnson County: 17,080 positive cases (up 33) with 369 deaths (no change).
Brown County: 972 positive cases (no change) with 40 deaths (no change).

Hoosiers age 16 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To schedule a vaccine, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance.
As of Thursday, a total of 2,857,486 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 1,695,022 first doses and 1,162,464 individuals who are fully vaccinated. The fully vaccinated number represents individuals who have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and those who received the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The testing site in Columbus is located in FairOaks Mall at the former JC Penney location.
The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.

Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
