1) The Lincoln Center Skate Club’s annual ice show regularly features a rinkful of adorable children, athletic youngsters and young adults slicing and spinning their way into the hearts of those who normally make it a sold-out event. This year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic limiting each of the four shows to crowds of 250 people each, that will still be the case with the presentation of "Musicals ‘n’ Movies." Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Center Drive in Columbus. 2) Amid the global pandemic that has had many folks’ emotions twisted like pretzels, Dancers Studio Inc. Director Stacie Woempner brings us something to help take a look at elements such as sadness, anger and the like: her contemporary ballet "Inside Out," inspired by the Pixar movie of the same name. Woempner’s 25-member troupe will perform, weather permitting, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive. Rain date is May 1 in the Dancers Studio Inc. parking lot at 2158 Cottage Ave. Admission is free. Information: dancers-studio.org
3) Night Owl Country Band will provide the live music at the free First Fridays Cruise-In to Hope from 5 to 8 p.m. May 7 on the Hope Town Square, 644 Main St. in Hope. Music will begin at 6 p.m. To-go food will be available.
