Rain that wreaked havoc across the state closed area roads, caused Haw Creek to swell enough to collapse Greenbelt Golf Course’s wooden bridge on 10th Street and prevented Milestone Contractors’ crews from setting the first beams on the northbound lane of the double-arch bridge at Interstate 65 and State Road 46.
