• the two nice Walmart ladies who comforted me and gave me paper towels after a 1/2 gallon of tomato juice spilled on the floor.

• Rep. Liz Cheney for her excellent speech full of truth.

• Kevin McCarthy meeting with President Joe Biden in the White House and saying in public that Biden is the legitimate president of the United States.

• Melinda Schwering for everything you’ve done for us at Britt’s birthday party.

• Charlie Bob Moore and Carol who graciously opened their home allowing the Beeker girls to take a trip down memory lane at the old home place, from Mom, Betty Moore, and Aunts Bonnie Rigsby and Barb Schnadinger.

• St. Peter’s Lutheran Church for planting the seed of mission work in Columbus honoring Pastor Teike, Pastor Chad Foster, Pastor Greg Finke, and for a wonderful presentation and sermon on Sunday.

• Ann Young Neil and Darla Schulton for my 81st birthday party and giving me flowers, a new mailbox, a cookout and candy.

Onions to …

• those who don’t understand people are choosing unemployment over a low-paying job that barely pays a living wage.

• believing all you have to do is create a hashtag and make a statement, then the drug problem disappears.

• documentary that is well produced, long on accusations and platitudes, but short on facts or evidence.

• those who turn for fast food ignoring the no U-turn sign at 25th Street and National Road.

• those using the middle school track and field Saturday, leaving an awful mess for others to clean up.

• the administration for the mess at the border.

• to the coach for having favoritism for pitchers.

• the new section of asphalt on the trail where the edge drops off so sharply, if a bike tire goes off that edge, one can’t recover without crashing.

• those not making eco-friendly choices when driving their vehicles.

• large companies constantly pumping pollution into the air and dumping billions of plastic waste like it’s no big deal.

• conservative who refuse to acknowledge that our health care system is lousy and overpriced.

• the senior center administrative staff letting all the homeless people stay there at night and not considering our safety.

• the federal elected official for higher taxes, higher gas prices and slowly taking away our freedom.

• conservatives for encouraging the communists in our government to endorse religion.

• the road project for making things worse.

• the end of our fossil fuel independence, high prices at the gas pump, pipelines held for ransom, and once again importing fossil fuels from abroad.

• allowing the former federal elected official to do such damage to our country.

• the political party that is a sinking ship.

• the driver who was speeding.

• the political party demanding things that have nothing to do with this pandemic.

• those who practice unethical nepotism in churches.
