Bartholomew County REMC will be conducting maintenance and repair on its Ogilville substation on Wednesday starting at 8:30 p.m.
A planned power outage will be less than two hours and will affect 1,600 REMC members who reside in the southwest portion of Bartholomew County.
The area affected is west of Interstate 65 and along State Road 58, including roads that branch from it.
Members who will be out of power will be contacted by phone. If you would like to confirm if you will be out of power, call 812-372-2546 during office hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
