COLUMBUS, Ind. — Most Columbus city facilities are now fully open to the public and beginning Tuesday, masks will be recommended but not required.
City officials said some city departments will adjust normal business hours beginning Tuesday through Aug. 6. All departments located at City Hall will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All park and park facilities, excluding The Commons playground, will continue to be open normal hours.
Transit offices will close at 4 p.m. but the phone will be answered through 5 p.m. pm. City Utilities offices will close at 4 p.m. but the drive-through payment window and phones will be operated until 5 p.m.
City fire stations continue to be closed to the public and Columbus Animal Care Services are open by appointment only.
