MONTEZUMA, Ind. (WISH) — A minor earthquake centered in a small town in west central Indiana shook the Midwest on Thursday afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.8 magnitude quake was centered 4 miles northeast of Montezuma, a town of 980 in Parke County.
Quakes with a magnitude from 3-3.8 are often felt, but only cause minor damage.
