I’d like to bring to your attention an email dated June 25, 2021, that I received from our 6th District U.S. Rep. Greg Pence, in reply to a petition I sent him in favor of legislation to reduce the cost of prescription drugs, in which he states, “I look forward to working with the Trump Administration to find low-cost, high-value solutions to improve the existing health care system for Hoosiers and all Americans.”
I’m puzzled about what work he is looking forward to, but I’m genuinely happy that he wants to improve health care for Hoosiers and all Americans. He’s a bit late to get the opportunity to accomplish anything along those lines with the previous administration, but the Biden Administration will be more than pleased to have his vote on any number of worthy proposals meant to improve health care for us all, because we all know it’s sorely needed.
