Lafayette man arrested on multiple charges after disturbance

Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested a Lafayette man on multiple charges after responding to a disturbance at 8:20 p.m. Saturday at 3989 S. County Road 525E.

Witnesses advised that a male was yelling, throwing items and attempting to attack park security.

Deputies arrived to find Travis Null, 45, Lafayette, disorderly, according to investigators. Null was detained and attempted to resist deputies. After making several threats, Null was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of:

  • Battery against public safety official
  • Intimidation
  • Escape
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Resisting law enforcement
  • Criminal mischief

Null remains in jail in lieu of $43,500 bond, jail officials said.
