ELIZABETHTOWN
Jeanette R. Fivecoat, age 91, of Elizabethtown, Indiana passed away Monday September 27, 2021 at Aspen Trace Senior Community in Greenwood. She was born March 14, 1930 in Scipio, Indiana to the late Amick and Marietta (Helt) Thompson.
She was the owner/operator of Jeanette’s Beauty Shop at 17th and Home Avenue for many years.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Rolland M. Fivecoat; sons, Brian (Mariela) Fivecoat of Lakeland, Florida and Kim (Cathy) Fivecoat of Greenwood; 3 grandchildren, Johnathon Fivecoat, Brandie Fivecoat and Lisa Fivecoat and 8 great grandchildren, Destiny, Ava, Gauge, Rachel, McKenzie, Anthony, Alisa and Cassus. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Donald Thompson and 2 sisters, Catherine Ahlbrand and Dorothy Weddle.
Services will be announced at a later date. She will be laid to rest in the Thompson family plot at Garland Brook Cemetery.
