COLUMBUS
Emmanuel E. Cain, 64, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:23 a.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Cain was born January 21, 1957, in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Aaron A. and Norma R. Caudill Cain.
He married Jackie L. Cox February 19, 1983.
Mr. Cain retired from Laborers’ International Union Local 741.
He was co-founder of Cain’s Tree Service, Cain’s Stump Removal and NexGen Contracting and was a member of Columbus Free Methodist Church.
He enjoyed being involved with all his grandchildren’s events, church events, IU Basketball, Indiana Pacers and NASCAR.
He was full of life and love and always made himself available for those who needed him.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years; father, Aaron Cain of Columbus; sons, Aaron L. Trevor Cain, William Tyler D. (Jessica) Cain and Dereck Thor J. (Kate) Cain all of Columbus; grandchildren, Haylee, Taelynn, Koldyn, Jack, Grayer, Evie and Adler; brothers, Ritchie (Randa) Cain and Charles (Amanda) Cain both of Columbus and his sisters, Pam (Roy) Donnell of Columbus, Sharon (John) Everroad of North Vernon and Charlene Cain of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Columbus Free Methodist Church with Pastor’s Luke Maggard and Don Fausnaugh officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and 9:30 a.m. to time of service Friday at the church.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
