Robert C. Sullivan

COLUMBUS

Robert C. Sullivan, 50, of Columbus, passed away at 6:37 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital.

Robert was born October 8, 1971, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Gerald and Nellie Brown Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan was a lifetime roofer and worked for various roofing companies. He will be remembered as an avid Harley Davidson rider and was also a longtime motorcycle enthusiast. Robert loved his family, especially spending time with them camping, being in the outdoors and enjoying bonfires together. He liked to play guitar, garden, art and wood working. Robert’s signature dish that he enjoyed preparing most included noodles, green beans and cornbread. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him.

Survivors include his son, Dylan Sullivan and his mother, Linda Eisenmenger; step-children, Ashley (Nathan) Gaertner, J.T. Eisenmenger, all of Columbus, Cheyanna Heid of Bloomington; companion, Doreen Cregar; mother, Nellie Sullivan, both of Columbus; brother, Tony (Laura) Sullivan of Hope; sister, Sonya Stretshberry of Columbus; niece, Sarah (Tracy) Toddy, also of Hope; nephew, Aaron (Heather) Sullivan of Columbus; great nieces and nephews, Abigail, Hannah, Braeden, Zander, Willow, James and his Pitbull dog, Harley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Tony Garris officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Azalia Methodist Cemetery.
