Kathleen “Kathy” Boutell, 72, passed away at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Majestic Care of North Vernon.
Kathy was born November 11, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Hoyt and Sarah Bullin Rayburn.
On June 8, 1992, she married Ronald F. Boutell.
Mrs. Boutell enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved traveling to Amish Country in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Kathy was a member of the Columbus area Women of the Moose 456 since 2002 where she spent time dancing and socializing. She will be missed by those that knew her best.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; children, Connie (Hank) Fulcher of Lakewood, Ohio, Wendy (Thomas) Blubaugh of Seven Hills, Ohio, Kim Boutell of Brunswick, Ohio, Shelly Nelson of Painsville, Ohio, Brian (Monica) Boccia of Seymour, Indiana, Kelly A. Boccia of North Vernon, Indiana; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Stephen H. Boccia.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Father Chris Wadelton officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. A live stream of the funeral service may be viewed at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at barkesweaverglick.com.
Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
