Flo Jeannine Hull

Connie Hull Wozny sadly announces the passing of her mother, Flo Jeannine Hull. Flo was born in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Lory and Kathryn Bunell (Wagner) Carmichael. She grew up on her grandparent’s farm and attended Wagner School, named for her great-grandfather, Jacob Wagner. She was known as “Jeannine” through elementary and high school. As a young girl, Flo was part of a tap dance duo with her partner, Joe Tom Atkins, performing at the Crump Theatre and local proms. In 1950, Flo married the love of her life, Robert N. (Billy Bob) Hull. They worked together at the family business, Hull’s Office Supplies, until their retirement.

Flo attended Franklin College, was a member of Sigma Phi Gamma social sorority, an avid bridge player, and lifelong member of First Christian Church. She will be lovingly remembered for her dry wit, love of children, and incredible pies.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie of Rockville, MD; granddaughters, Kathryn Jeannine (Chip) Jenne of Minneapolis, MN, Erin Ritz Fasnacht of Panama City, FL; grandson, Christopher (Brooke) Wozny of Mequon, WI and nephew, Robert (Beth) Carmichael of Raleigh, NC. Flo is also survived by great-granddaughters, Carlee Minor of Columbus, IN, Deja Hunter, Maya Brasi Ransom, both of Panama City, FL, Ella Wozny, of Mequon, WI, Claire Jenne, of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandsons, Dezmon Jackson and Braylynn Lawson, of Columbus, Kesean Hunter, of Panama City, FL, Jack Wozny, of Mequon, WI; great-great-grandchildren, Neveah and Landen Irwin of Florida and Jaylee Carmer of Columbus, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Bob; brother, Harry (Jean) Carmichael; daughter, Cathy Hull and granddaughter, Shannon Lawson.

In keeping with Flo’s wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at First Christian Church Chapel at lilac time, 2022.

Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
