COLUMBUS
Wilma Ann (Galyan) Robinson, 93, of Columbus, died in her home on November 28, 2021.
Wilma was born December 20, 1927, to Hubert and Mary Galyan of Bloomington, Indiana. On May 7, 1948, she married Colin Keith Robinson Sr. Wilma was married to Keith Robinson for 62 years.
Wilma Robinson was preceded in death by her parents; her infant siblings, Joseph and Ailcy Bell; sisters, Vena May Galyan, Cleora Asher, Emma McDaniel, Alice Mathis, and Olive Lovejoy; and a brother, Homer Galyan.
Wilma is survived by her sister, Becky Adams of Bloomington; children, Elena Bastin of Bloomington, Evelyne Tobias Grubb of Charleston, Illinois, Colin Keith Robinson Jr. of Columbus, Twilla (Larry) Abram of Solsberry, and Keenin (Linda) Robinson of Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Wilma Robinson was actively involved in the founding of Dowell Hill Church of Christ, and in later years, she regularly attended Hillside Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike; Brother Steve Watts will officiate.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Wilma will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
