NORTH VERNON
Larry A. Brandt, 58, of North Vernon formerly of Columbus, passed from this life at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Majestic Care of North Vernon.
Mr. Brandt was born January 14, 1963, in Seymour, the son of Donald E. and Annalene L. Stahl.
Larry was a former hairstylist with several different salons throughout Columbus and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesville.
Survivors include his siblings, Roger (Debbie) Brandt of Columbus, Vicki (Wayne) Copeland of North Vernon and Cindy Brandt of Columbus; aunt, Glenda (Max) Tuttle of Hayden, IN; nephews, Rick (Shanna) Wilson, Thomas (Brandy) Wilson, Nick Brandt, Cory (Carri) Brandt, Shawn Copeland and Jackie Norton and nieces, Angie (Billy) Burton, Anna Hawkins and Jentry (Lance) Sever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael Brandt and his grandparents.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes, cremation will take place.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Matthew Jung officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
A private graveside inurnment service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Jonesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or American Cancer Society.
