Alma T. Eggers, 75, of Columbus, departed this life at 9:41 a.m., Monday November 20, 2021 at the Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
Alma was born July 21, 1946 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, the daughter of Stanley and Martha Reddix Watkins. She married James W. Eggers, he survives.
Alma was a passionate about playing piano and organ at Lowell General Baptist church for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed planting flowers, singing and traveling to Kentucky to visit her family. She was a social butterfly and a caretaker who will be greatly missed.
A time of gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Foundation or United Way of Bartholomew County.
Alma was survived by her husband, James; her daughter, Duste Eggers, grandchildren, Jasmine Eggers, and Aria Eggers, all of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Anis Burris.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
