Rhonda Kay Hill, 60, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:04 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Rhonda was born October 5, 1961, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was the daughter of Charles Ray and Hester Faye Cooper Palmer. On April 16, 1989, she married Robert “Bob” Hill.

Mrs. Hill worked as a quality technician at NTN Driveshaft. She loved gardening and flowers. When the opportunity arose, she liked to go camping, as Rhonda enjoyed the outdoors. Spending time with grandchildren and sewing were among her favorite pastimes. Being a woman of lifelong faith, she would often attend the Salvation Army Church of Nashville. She will be missed by those that knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bob” Hill; children, Michal Dawn (Ben) Watkins of Marion, Jesse Caric, Rusty (Victoria) Hill, both of Nashville; grandchildren, Josiah Watkins, Gabriel Watkins, Silas Watkins, Rusty Hill, Rory Hill; sisters, Ruby Mae (Tim) Tucker, Glenna Gay (Barry) Vanover, both of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with Rhonda’s request, cremation is planned and a celebration of life service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Pastor Ben Watkins officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
