United Way offering Premium Link insurance

Bartholomew County residents who need assistance paying for health insurance may qualify for help through the Premium Link Bartholomew County Program.

Residents may qualify for the program if their household income is less than 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines and if they have health coverage through Marketplace Silver Plan or HIP Plus.

“Premium Link Bartholomew County is designed to help ensure residents of Bartholomew County have access to health care by not allowing the cost to get in the way of their health,” said Alicia Monroe, Volunteer Action Center director.

The Premium Link Bartholomew County Program is a United Way service that launched in 2016. The program helped 92 individuals in 2020.
