JENNINGS COUNTY — Three people were arrested Wednesday evening in Jennings County by police called to a home to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle being spotted.
The three Madison residents, Quinton C. Isenhower, 19, Miranda N. Lauderbaugh, 33, and Matthew L. Giltner, 29, all face preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and possession of a paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
Isenhower also faces a Level 6 felony charge of auto theft while Lauderbaugh also was arrested on felony warrant, according to a news release from the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department.
The trio were arrested by Officer Thomas Mellencamp and Officer Craig Hahn after they went to a residence in the 10000 block of South County Road 200West near Paris Crossing in Jennings County and found the stolen vehicle.
Mellencamp was then able to make contact with Isenhower who admitted to being in possession of the vehicle, reportedly stolen in Ripley County, police said.
During their investigation, officers reporting finding all three were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia, police said. They were then arrested and taken to the Jennings County Jail.
Isenhower was booked into the jail at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday and is being held on a $6,255 bond while Lauderbaugh was booked in at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday and was being held without bond. Giltner, who was booked in at 7:45 p.m., was being held on a $6,255 bond.
An Indiana Conservation officer, Jennings County Central Dispatch and Lee’s Wrecker Service assisted with the investigation and arrests.
