Community vaccination clinic set for Jan. 15

COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Community Immunization Clinic is planned from 9 to 11 a.m. Jan. 15 at Columbus North High School’s cafeteria.

Indiana Immunization Coalition in partnership with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. and the Bartholomew County Health Department will be providing all immunizations available including flu and COVID-19 vaccines. All ages are welcome and walk-ins will be allowed.

For those who wish to pre-register, complete an online form at patients.vaxcare.com/registration. Enrollment code is IN65942 and select Columbus North-1/15.

Those attending are asked to bring insurance cards, which will be billed. There is no cost to those without insurance, except for the shingles vaccine. There is often a required co-pay for the shingles vaccine with Medicare.

Those who participate in the clinic will be vaccinated with a CDC recommended vaccines. Those who wish to refuse a specific vaccine should contact the Indiana Immunization Coalition at least 48 hours prior to the event at [email protected] or by calling 317-628-7116.
