Robert Keith Fulton, 90, of Hope, Indiana, formerly of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Robert was born July 25, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Joseph K. Fulton and Sophia (Laughlin) Fulton. He married his late wife, Geneva (Godfrey) Watson Fulton, and proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 in Pensacola, Florida as an aircraft engine mechanic. He worked at Indiana Bell for 34 years until his retirement. He then spent his winters in Bradenton, Florida until his health declined.

Robert enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Robert loved watching and going to NASCAR races, fishing, and working in his yard and garden.

Robert is survived by his son, Allen Dean (Rita) Watson of Hope, IN; his two grandchildren, Lydia (Bryan Campbell) Broughton of Greenwood, IN and Jennifer Watson of Hope, IN; his great-grandchild, Gwendolyn Campbell of Greenwood, IN; his three nephews, Brad, W.K., and Mark Brandum.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Fulton, who passed away October 29, 2019; his son, Robert Dewayne Watson; his parents, Joseph and Sophia Fulton; his two sisters, Charlotte Jean Snodgrass and Elizabeth Ann Brandum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 12:00pm at Jessen &Keller Funeral Homes ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 10:00am until the funeral hour. Robert will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis at 2:00pm.

The family asks that COVID measures be taken and masks are worn.
