BCSC reports new COVID-19 case counts

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. is reporting a total of 779 COVID-19 cases since Jan. 1, up 226 from last week’s count.

As of noon Friday, the school corporation reported 626 student cases and 153 staff cases during the new semester. This brings the total for the school year up to 1,739 since August, with 960 during the first semester.

The breakdown of cases for the second semester is as follows by building:

  • Administration: Six staff
  • Busy Bees: Three students, four staff (7)
  • Central: 42 students, 11 staff (53)
  • Clifty Creek: 28 students, 10 staff (38)
  • Columbus Virtual Pathway: One student
  • CSA Fodrea: 23 students, three staff (26)
  • CSA Lincoln: 22 students, four staff (26)
  • CSA New Tech: 27 students, four staff (31)
  • East: 81 students, 16 staff (97)
  • ISC Building: Two staff
  • McDowell/Bright Beginnings: Six students, nine staff (15)
  • Mt. Healthy: 22 students, four staff (26)
  • North: 86 students, 10 staff (96)
  • Northside: 43 students, seven staff (50)
  • Parkside: 44 students, 10 staff (54)
  • Richards: 26 students, five staff (31)
