INDIANAPOLIS
Diana Elaine Frady, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Westminster Village in Indianapolis.
Born January 22, 1953, in Scottsburg, she was the daughter of Loren and Dorothy (Richey) Hall.
Diana was a 1971 graduate of Jennings County High School and had worked as a cashier for Circle K in North Vernon for ten years, Arvin’s in North Vernon for ten years and was a welder for the United States Navy as a civilian employee. Diana enjoyed bowling, playing cards, riding motorcycles, listening to country and classic rock music and NASCAR.
She is survived by her sons, Ray (Melissa) Haney of Indianapolis, and Bryan (Christina) Haney of New Mexico; daughter, Christie Haney of Champaign, Illinois; sister, Lisa (Ben) Hauersperger of North Vernon; grandchildren, Timothy Haney of North Vernon, Hunter Ownbey of Seymour, Marion Ray Haney III of New Mexico, and Joseph Ray Haney of Indianapolis; great-grandchildren, Natalie Jo, Aliyah, and Octavia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp &Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Marvin Wright officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorials may be made in honor of Diana through the funeral home to the American Kidney Foundation.
