NORTH LIBERTY
Virginia A. Dooley, 79, of North Liberty, Indiana, formerly of Columbus, passed from this life at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Mrs. Dooley was born August 28, 1942, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Jeffery and Kathryn Wells VanNorman.
She married Daniel E. Dooley November 21, 1959; he preceded her in death December 28, 2004.
She enjoyed her card club, bingo, going to casinos, spending time with family and friends and her time in Florida.
Survivors include her children, Tammie Hawley of Columbus, Greg (Kellie) Dooley of North Liberty and Victoria (Clayton) St John of Columbus; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a sister, Debbie (Bobby) Leahy of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Brian Dooley; son-in-law, Kenny Smith and sisters, Tomy Bozell and Nancy Greenlee.
In keeping with Virginia’s wishes, cremation will take place.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
