Columbus Speedway Go-Karts hold awards banquet

Columbus Speedway Go-Kart Racing held its awards banquet for the 2021 season on Feb. 26 at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds. Columbus Speedway Go-Kart Racing held its awards banquet on Feb. 26 at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds. The 2021 division winners were Conner Smith (junior 1), Jacob Chadd (junior 2), Blake Robertson (junior 3), Calli Lucas (pred), Colton Lucas (flatheads and clone 380), P.J. Browder (clone 340), Landon Fletcher (clone 420), and Josh Cash (rwyb).

The All-Star Circuit of Champions TQ Midgets have released their 2022 racing schedule. Tony Stewart is currently scheduled to race June 16 at the Shelby County Fairgrounds and June 28 at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Brownstown to hold practice today

Brownstown Speedway will be holding a special practice session today for all divisions of racing.

Gates will open at noon, with practice slated to take place from 2-5 p.m. The pit admission is $15.

There will be another open practice session scheduled for March 12, a week before the season opener on March 19 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned Indiana Icebreaker. For more information, visit brownstownspeedway.com.
