Patricia L. Ritchey

HARTSVILLE

On Friday, March 18th, 2022, Patricia Louise Forway Ritchey, made her journey in the light of the full moon, to be with her husband, John Ritchey; youngest son, Lynn Ritchey; parents; other family relatives and friends already in heaven.

Pat was born September 5, 1934, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of John H. and Anna Louise Ballage Forway. On September 25, 1952, she married John E. Ritchey.

She leaves behind her eldest son, Tom (Linda) Ritchey; grandchildren, Beth (Scott) King, April (Jeremiah) King, Kyle (Ashley) Ritchey; step-grandchildren, David (Lisa) Romine, Cale Romine; four great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren, plus the many people that meant the same to her as family.

Pat spent most of her time here on earth as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She had a passion for sewing, knitting, quilting, and most anything involving crafts. She had been a member of the County Extension Homemakers, Club 24 Home Ec. Club and the Prairie Promenaders Square Dancers. She had worked at Newsom Industries and Joann Fabrics.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Marcus D. Speer officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A live stream of the funeral service may be viewed at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at barkesweaverglick.com.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery next to her husband, John in the Devotion section.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County 4-H or the Foundation For Youth.
