Deadline to register to vote in the May 3 primary is Monday

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County residents now have less than a week to register to vote for the May 3 primary.

The deadline to register to vote online at indianavoters.in.gov is Monday at 11:59 p.m. People also can register in person at the Bartholomew County Voter Registration Office, 234 Washington St., until 5 p.m. Monday.

Early in-person voting starts Tuesday.

Currently, there are 52,541 registered voters in Bartholomew County, local election officials said.
