Travis Michael Brashear, 36, Butlerville, lost his battle with cancer on April 7, 2022, at his residence.
Born July 10, 1985, in Madison, the son of Carol (Starkey) Brashear and the late Jerry Wayne Brashear Sr.
Travis was currently working as a team leader for GT Industries in North Vernon and had previously worked as a supervisor for N.V.I.C. (North Vernon Industry Corporation) in North Vernon for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, playing pool, skateboarding, and watching movies.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Brashear; children, Brayden, Brooklyne, and Braxton Brashear and Payton Perry; stepdaughter, Bailey Ritz; brothers, Jerry Wayne (Jordynn) Brashear Jr. and Codi Brashear; sister, Ashley (A.J.) Spicer; nephews, Peyton Hall and Kyler Brashear; and grandparents, Jesse and Raymond Zaphe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Brashear Sr and grandparents, Betty and Edward Brashear and Ralph Starkey.
A funeral service for Travis will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp &Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
Memorials may be made in honor of Travis through the funeral home for family expenses for his children.
