Toyota Material Handling hosting 5K, golf scramble to benefit Make-A-Wish

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Toyota Material Handling is sponsoring two events to benefit its local efforts to grant a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A Toyota 5K Walk/Run for Wishes is at 9 a.m. Saturday on the Toyota Material Handling Campus, with registration opening at 8 a.m. Cost is $30, and there is also an option to donate to the cause without participating in the 5K.

Toyota Material Handling is also conducting its 4th annual Golf Scramble to benefit Make-A-Wish at 8 a.m. May 21 with a shotgun start at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus. Registration and the range opens at 7 a.m. and cost is $75 per person or $300 for a fours0me.

Cost includes driving range, cart, T-shirt, lunch and a raffle ticket.

This year’s Toyota Material Handling Make-A-Wish recipient is a 15-year-old from Nashville, Indiana who is battling bone cancer and her wish is to go to Hawaii.
